- Select the kernel.
- Press e to edit the entry
- Select second line which indicates kernel
- Press e to edit kernel so we can enter the single user mode.
- Type the letter S at the end of the line
- Press Enter
- Now press b to boot linux kernel in single user mode.When single user mode appears type password command to reset Password.
